Going Artistic

So after multiple posts of photos I figured I would take a stab at what I'm calling "T Shirt Art." This photo is a manipulation of a flower photo I took at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas. I wanted to go with a look that would look great framed but also great on a shirt. If people like this post I might start creating more artistic items like this one. For those of you that might not get the hint PLEASE LEAVE FEEDBACK!

Early Morning Post

Quick post this morning. Realized that I did not post a shot last night. Might have been due to the intense fever that I had along with wonderful sinus pressure and cough.

After a very full night of sleep I am getting back into feeling normal.

This shot of course comes from Filoli. I promise some non floral shots soon.

A Favorite of Grammatical Fairy

Today's post is a personal favorite of the Grammatical Fairy from this recent trip to Filoli. This amazing tree had flowers that were yellow and orange surrounded by green moss.

This shot was taken directly overhead with the branches about 7 feet above me. Only enhancement to this shot is fixing the levels of the colors.

April 3rd Post

Well I know that I did not post in March AT ALL!!! Here is to a better month of photos.

With the weather so nice today I was able to get some more great shots from Filoli. But this time, instead of spilling them all at once as I did in the past, I am going to take my time and share them over the course of the week.

This shot was taken in the shade and had only a small amount of light coming through. I love the way that small light accents the flower. Also the geometry of this flower is pretty amazing.
